AFP Nashville Library
The AFP Nashville, TN Chapter Affiliate Library is housed within the Nashville Main Public Library. The Chapter has donated to the library 19 of the 32 titles included in the Pierpont-Welde Affiliate Library Collection. The Collection is comprised of selected works on fundraising and philanthropy, representing the fundamental knowledge base of the profession. The Chapter budgets each year for additional purchases from the Collection to be donated to the Main Library.
The donated books are reviewed by Library staff and incorporated into the general nonfiction circulating collection. The books receive a sticker acknowledging the contribution by the AFP Nashville Chapter. Readers find the books interfiled in subject areas such as "fund raising" and "proposal writing" (mainly in the 361.73 and 658.15224 Dewey call number areas). As with all circulating books, borrowers are allowed a three week initial check out period, with three permitted renewals.
The Nashville Main Public Library is located at 615 Church Street, Nashville, TN 37219. The main phone number is (615) 862-5800. The Nonfiction Information Desk may be reached at (615) 862-5793.

AFP Job Bank
One of the many benefits of an AFP membership is easy access to the most current job openings in fundraising / development. Most, but not all job listings are within the greater Nashville area. Job Bank listings are posted on an as-needed basis. The total number of listings received ranges from 1-4 each month. Anyone is welcome to use the Job Bank service to list a fundraising / development position, however, only members are allowed access to the listings via the "Members Only" section of the website.
In addition to the website listing, each job announcement is forwarded directly to more than 100 AFP Nashville members via email. Job Bank listings are distributed once via email and remain on the website for 30 days or until the position is filled (whichever occurs first).
New Rates! The fee for member organizations to use our Job Bank service has been reduced to $25. The fee for non-member organizations will remain $50 per request.
Important Note
Members of any AFP Chapter are eligible to receive the Job Bank listings via email. To receive Job Bank announcements, please send your request to our Chapter Administrator at info@afpnashville.org.
